Who We Are

Douglas Flannigan started working with his father in the shellfish trade in 1969. He has 50 years of experience in the business and has acquired an enviable reputation for high quality products and customer courtesy over the years.

In 2016 he started Douglas Flannigan Shellfish operating from Unit 12A in the Ramparts Business Park in Berwick.

The business comprises of Douglas, his wife Terry and an excellent team of dedicated staff. The new firm continues to gain a reputation for good service and for the delivery of high quality fresh hand picked crab meat and a variety of other products. Douglas prides himself in providing top notch products to local hotels and restaurants. They also continue a thriving export trade in supplying live lobsters and winkles to France, where they maintain a close working relationship with their long standing French buyers.
